Maureen Crossley | St. David's College Old Davideans Association

Sadly, Maureen Crossley, former Head of Drama at St. David's College has passed away.

Mrs Crossley came to St. David's in the late 80's and set up the drama department teaching both GCSE and A Level. She taught at St. David's until she retired in 2004. After her retirement she was welcomed back to judge House Plays. Many Old Davideans will remember fondly the little drama room by the Dovecote and how dedicated Mrs Crossley was to the Performing Arts. The school play in the Assembly Hall was always a treat and of course for many years, she was the driving force behind the House Plays, still a brilliant competition at SDC and the houses remain fiercely competitive over the much coveted House Play Cup!

For those of you who would like to pay their final respects, Mrs Crossley's funeral will take place at 2pm on Monday, March 27th at Mochdre Crematorium. This may be subject to change and I will send another email if this is the case.

Please keep her daughter Michelle and grandchildren Casper and Molly in your thoughts and prayers.
