Remembrance Reunion Weekend | St. David's College Old Davideans Association

We are looking forward to seeing as many of you as possible at the ODA reunion weekend this November 8th - 9th at St David's College.

Due to the success of the last two years, we have once again teamed up with local caterer Bryn Powell from ‘A Piece of Cake’ to create a warming winter four course meal.

The meal will cost £30 per head and the menu will follow shortly.

We are starting at 6.30pm for 7pm and after coffee, the ODA lottery will be drawn.  For those of you who have participated in the monthly payments, there are some great cash prizes to be won including a fantastic £500 first prize! There will also be a raffle and auction on the evening with prizes donated by Old Davideans (please do get in touch if you would like to donate something).  The ODA is fundraising for a couple of things…the first being ODA travel bursaries for current pupils (we will have more information available on the 8th).

Some Old Davideans are coming to morning school to give demonstrations/talks/workshops on their professions.  If you would also like to be involved, please contact me, Kate Russell, - sec@oda-sdc.co.uk

The rugby match will be on in the afternoon at 2pm.

There will also be a football match with Old Davideans versus staff and pupils. Some other activities are also taking place including a climbing wall competition (you must come and see the new climbing wall in the old gym), shooting competition and rounders/netball (Miss Redfern). Once again please get in touch if you would like to be involved.

On Sunday, the rev Tim Hall will be leading the Remembrance service. This year's guest speaker is Ray Beech, former Cader Housemaster, notorious for his wonderful and entertaining stories!   As ever, there will be tea/coffee in the Minstrel Hall after the service.

We have a Facebook page for the ODA which is updated regularly with news and events.  Obviously we will also continue to email information in addition to this page.  If you ‘like’ the page, you will automatically receive updates on your newsfeed.  Here's the link:

The meal has a limited number of places so do get in touch as soon as possible to book your place and avoid disappointment.  We very much hope to see you in November!
